Biography
My name is Evanita W. Montalvo. I am a photographer currently finishing my Bachelors of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Art History at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I work for deviantART as a Help Desk Representative and I also co-run a small photography group with Maureen Winter, Joao Pinheiro, and Markus Ortner called the Photography Channel.
I specialize in wildlife and nature photography, but I do like to venture off into other areas of photography if given the opportunity. Over the years, I have acquired an assortment of photography equipment and learned various photography processes.
In the past year, I have worked with portraiture and wedding photography and while it is fun once in awhile it is not my passion. I am currently working with strobes to light flowers and overlaying photographs of butterfly scales seamlessly onto the flowers in Photoshop for my recent "Butterfly Flower" project.
